The insurer pays their portion directly to the clinic — you pay only any remaining co-payment or balance above your plan’s per-visit limit. Olive Clinic does not require a physician referral to book or begin treatment. However, some extended health insurance plans require a physician referral to activate or reimburse their physiotherapy, acupuncture, or RMT benefit. Check your benefits booklet or call your insurer before your first appointment to confirm. If your plan requires a referral, obtaining one before your first session ensures coverage is active from the outset.
If your insurer is not one we currently direct bill, we provide you with a detailed official receipt after each session for manual submission to your insurer — online through their member portal, by mail, or through your employer’s HR department. Most insurers process manual submissions within 5-10 business days. Call 672-888-0077 to confirm whether we’ve recently added your insurer to our system.
When your annual maximum has been reached for a given benefit, the direct billing system will flag this during claim submission. The full session fee becomes payable by you. We will inform you as soon as this occurs so there are no surprises.
